How to make this perfect tasting chicken salad?
Take two slices of white bread. You can also choose wholemeal dark sandwich bread (if you want an even healthier version of the salad). Cut off all the edges of the bread.
Cut the bread into small cubes.

Preheat the hob to medium heat. Place a frying pan on the hob and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Add the bread cubes to the pan and mix well with the oil. Sprinkle a little black pepper on the bread.

Fry the bread mixed with oil and black pepper in a pan over medium heat. Fry for about 5-6 minutes until the bread cubes are nicely browned.
When the bread is sufficiently browned, remove the pan from the heat and set the bread aside. We will use it to make salad later.

How to cook and season chicken breast for a chicken salad?
Take 3 garlic cloves and peel them. Squeeze the peeled garlic cloves into a small bowl. The squeezed garlic will be used to fry the chicken breast.

Preheat the hob to medium heat and place the frying pan on it. Add one tablespoon of butter to the pan. Wait until the butter has melted.

Add the squeezed garlic to the pan with the melted butter, stir well and fry a little (about 1 minute).

Add one tablespoon of honey to the pan. Wait until the honey has completely melted.

Take a medium sized chicken breast and place it in the pan with the honey and garlic sauce.

Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon salt on each side of the chicken breast. Use a teaspoon to spread the salt evenly over the chicken.

Spoon the sauce into the pan and pour over the chicken. We want the chicken to absorb as much of the sauce as possible and acquire its flavour and aroma.
Fry the chicken in the pan for about 20 minutes (10 minutes each side). Until the chicken is nicely browned and fully cooked. The chicken should have a brownish tinge caused by the honey.

While the chicken is baking, start preparing the salad.
Take 3 iceberg lettuce leaves, wash them well under hot water, rinse them under cold water, drain them and place them on a cutting board.
Cut the iceberg lettuce into medium-sized slices and place them in a salad bowl.


Take one medium tomato, rinse it under hot water, rinse it under cold water and place it on a cutting board.
Cut the tomato into medium-sized pieces and place in a salad bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of mustard to the bowl with the lettuce and tomato.


Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the salad and toss well.
